Both Carfest North and Carfest South cram in a huge amount of fun and action for petrol heads, families and music fans alike. It’s a heady mix that sets it apart and we have plenty of Winnebago and Amercian RV vehicles to help you enjoy every minute of both events!
Event: Carfest North | Carfest South (28-30th August 2015) music festival plus motor and air show all in one!
When: July and August each year
Where: Carfest North is at Oulten Park in Cheshire (CW6 9BW) and Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire (RG25 3DR)
Celebrities tripping over one another, some of the finest classic and modern day racing cars plus food and drink competitions, Chinook aerobatics, Lancaster Bomber and the Red Arrows display teams…Carfest has everything you could ever hope for in a festival.
They really are the ultimate music, motor & air show events…oh, did we mention top bands and musicians galore too?!
It’s unsurprisingly then that the annual Carfest events are incredibly popular with tickets selling out extremely fast each year. Especially when a minimum of 25% of the price of each ticket sold goes to BBC Children in Need, with £1.5 million raised in 2014.
Here’s a taster of the array of bands, artists and musical talent who have appeared at Carfest events: Primal Scream, Billy Ocean, Scouting for Girls, The Boomtown Rats, The Christians, The Lionels, Ultimate Elton and The Rocket Band, Andreya Triana, Joss Stone, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Seasick Steve, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Texas, The Feeling, Ward Thomas, Will Young, Bjorn to Rock, Jack Savoretti, Level 42, Midge Ure, Proclaimers, Rebecca Ferguson, The Shires plus a ‘Show stopping’ finale performance by Lord of The Dance.

You can park all types of vehicles, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles but if you plan to stay in your vehicle you will need to book a specific pass for this and locate yourself in the dedicated area.
Lashings of Food & Drink
One of the tings we love about these two events are the sheer diversity of food and drink on offer plus the amount of food and drink stalls. A real favourite area though is Britain’s Best, which gives fest goers some seriously tasty British made produce, from Cheeky Cow half fat Somerset Cheddar to fudge, British Gin, baked goods and chocolate…lots and lots of chocolate! From experience, the food prices are not too high but alcoholic drinks do tend to be at the higher end of the scale. Don’t forget…Laverstoke Park Farm isn’t just the venue, it’s the source of a wide range of the organic food available to fest goers, whether you fancy an early morning breakfast with organic, nitrate free, bacon rolls, a mid morning brunch, a full lunch, supper, treat or snack. You can also bring your own picnics and food too which is a bonus of course.
Cakes vs Pies: You can also put on your apron and grease up your baking tins for the annual Cakes vs Pies competition. Last year Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry made an appearance so if you fancy yourself as a winning baker, prove it by entering Cakes vs Pies at CarFest South in 2015
Each event has an amazing array of things to do with the family or friends including a whole selection of new features in 2015. From the new Mega Land area of MASSIVE vehicles including Challenger tanks and snow ploughs to the air shows, the Big Top, Goalfest, The Beach, The Kids Driving School, Stunt School and Summer Camp for the kids.
