When is CarFest South 2023?
Previously there were two editions of this fabulous family festival every year, including CarFest North, but this year the main event is CarFest South from the 25th – 27th August and Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire (RG25 3DR)
What’s On?
Celebrities tripping over one another, some of the finest classic and modern day racing cars plus food and drink competitions…it’s all happening this year!
In addition to the amazing lineup of bands and singers, there are some brilliant individual festival zones including Starfest which gathers some of today’s greatest TV, film, music, literature and comedy stars plus a glimpse of the stars of the future.
Or head to KidsFest for a childhood experience like no other thanks to areas dedicated to celebrating everything that is great about being a kid. AdventureFest for those wanting to enjoy the the great outdoors or SpaFest to help you develop a healthy mind, body and spirit. FoodFest is the stop for foodiesthanks to celebrity chef demonstrations to workshops and food markets. Or for those wanting to step back in time and discover the world from the past, RetroFest is for you, featuring cars, music, fashion and toys from the good old days.

Don’t fancy fighting your way in and out of the venue the entire weekend to get to your hotel? Prefer having your own shower and toilet and not worrying about the rain??
Then why not do it in comfort and style in one of our American RVs or Winnebago vehicles thanks to our Carfest 2023 RV hire service!
So if you’re travelling Laverstock Park Farm, you can hire our motor homes and RVs for the entirety of the festivals. Not only will we deliver them but our team will ensure they are ready for you to move in for the festivals upon your arrival. We can easily accommodate groups between 2 – 10 people, with our pre-stay shopping service also available, ensuring your cupboards and fridge are stocked with the food and drink you want. So, as long as you already have your tickets then all you need to do is turn up, unpack and enjoy a weekend full of fun, great bands, luxury accommodation and lashings of entertainment!
Our Winnebago and RVs really are a comfortable, hassle-free alternative to traditional guesthouses or campsites with arrival and departure times flexible to suit your timetable.
As you’d expect, as part of our Carfest 2023 RV hire service we offer an all-inclusive service providing 24-hour support throughout your stay. Our units come outfitted with bed linen, towels, kitchen equipment, TV/DVD systems providing all you need for a weekend living the high life during the festival. We also offer all customers a complimentary welcome package, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk and other essentials.

Camping at CarFest
You’ll need to book your camping tickets with your main entry tickets and if you are holding a weekend camping ticket this includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday night camping. Other options are available too, including luxury yurts.
Catering and toilet facilities will remain open until Monday morning with the campsites open from 7am on Friday morning until 11am on Monday morning.
Car Parking
Car parking is available to all festival ticket-holders with spaces allocated by stewards when you turn up and head into the fields surrounding the main festival area. It’s good to know that there is also 24-hour security on-site including regular patrols of the car parking areas. You can park all types of vehicles, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles but if you plan to stay in your vehicle you will need to book a specific pass for this and locate yourself in the dedicated area.
Lashings of Food & Drink
One of the things we love about these two events are the sheer diversity of food and drink on offer plus the amount of food and drink stalls. A real favourite area though is Britain’s Best, which gives fest-goers some seriously tasty British-made produce, from Somerset Cheddar to fudge, British Gin, baked goods and chocolate…lots and lots of chocolate! From experience, the food prices are not too high but alcoholic drinks do tend to be at the higher end of the scale. Don’t forget…Laverstoke Park Farm isn’t just the venue, it’s the source of a wide range of organic food available to fest-goers, whether you fancy an early morning breakfast with organic, nitrate-free, bacon rolls, a mid-morning brunch, a full lunch, supper, treat or snack. You can also bring your own picnics and food too which is a bonus of course.
