We specialise in equestrian event motorhome & RV hire, so if you’re visiting your favourite horse trials then we offer the ultimate way to experience any of the following wonderful horse and equestrian events.
As with many events though, the demand for accommodation can often overwhelm the local accommodation providers and amenities, making it hard to find a hotel that is either near or within your price range. However, with our American Motorhome hire means you won’t have to fight your way in and out of the venue each day, so hiring an RV really is a great option.
So scroll through some of the horse events here or if you need motorhome hire for another horse trial or eventing show then just get in touch via our Contact page or call 01761 300 489 to speak to our professional and friendly RV hire team.

The Burghley Horse Trials (September each year) have recently been given the International Best Event Award for the fifth time, cemeting its position as the premier equestrian event. A three-day event (which actually takes place over four days) is one of the great tests of all round horsemanship; the Cross Country course is one of the most challenging in the world, while the show jumping offers a tense climax, with some of the best show-jumpers in the world.
Burghley House itself is one of the finest Elizabethan stately homes in the country, and it forms a spectacular backdrop to the Trials. This prestigious event dates to 1961 when the Marquess of Exeter invited the British Horse Society to transfer the event to his estate. As well as the annual trials, Burghley has hosted two World Championships and six European Championships. If you want a change from the equine entertainment, enjoy the chance to explore the grounds, sample the array of food stalls and take your family down to the lakeside, where you can find the Land Rover Terrapod and Pedigree Dog Agility.

Of course, the event is rightly focused on the horses and riders overcoming seemingly insurmountable fences and obstacles, but for visitors there is so much more on offer including the Manor of Badminton, which was purchased by the Worcesters in 1608. The first event at Badminton was held in 1949, the idea of the 10th Duke of Beaufort in order that British riders could train for future international events. These days it is a huge, multinational event that was voted Best Event (Eventing) by the international publication L’Annee Hippique. Today the House and Park is run by a charity The Weston Park Foundation.

The first Equine Studies programme was introduced in 1992, followed by a degree in Equine Science in 1994. This has been backed by heavy investment of more than £50 million to create an outstanding specialist campus, which hosts the events.
The eventing is supported by a variety of stands surrounding the International Outdoor Arena for the dressage while a shuttle bus service will take you to the viewing areas of the three testing courses on Hartpury House Bank.
