Some of the most popular events for renting our motorhomes are the big horse racing and equestrian events eventing meets.
These events often overwhelm the accommodation providers and amenities, so finding a hotel is either difficult and expensive or a distance away and requires fighting your way in and out of the venue each day. This makes hiring an RV a great option, and we have plenty of offerings for some of the bigger equestrian and horse events as listed below.

Hartpury International Horse Trials
August each year
The Hartpury International event is slightly at odds with with other big equestrian events in that it has come out of equine studies courses rather than a stately home using their grounds to host an event. The college itself was established after World War 2 as an agricultural education centre with 50 students, which remained relatively unchanged until 1990, when it embarked on a rapid expansion programme. The first Equine Studies programme was introduced in 1992, followed by a degree in Equine Science in 1994. This has been backed by heavy investment of more than £50 million to create an outstanding specialist campus, which hosts the events.
The eventing is supported by a variety of stands surrounding the International Outdoor Arena for the dressage while a shuttle bus service will take you to the viewing areas of the three testing courses on Hartpury House Bank.
